JSW Steel has a specific route from steelmaking residual to infrastructure application: its FY2024-25 report describes a steel-slag road at Dolvi developed with CRRI. That is a useful signal, but it is not a universal slag-use claim. JSW Steel's FY2024-25 Integrated Report states that nearly 100% of waste generated was utilised, all operational sites maintained Zero Liquid Discharge, and specific water consumption was 2.35 cubic metres per tonne of crude steel against a 2030 target of 2.21. The report also describes a steel-slag road at Dolvi and ResponsibleSteel certification covering more than 80% of primary steel production in India. Public reporting does not establish one site-level mass balance tying slag, water, steel output, product grade and downstream buyer evidence together.
